NASA Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition (CSDA) and Evaluation of Data in Support of Sustainable Land Imaging (SLI) Commercialization

The NASA Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition (CSDA) program is seeking commercial Earth observation data to support the Sustainable Land Imaging (SLI) Commercialization project. The project aims to enhance the Landsat terrestrial record by integrating commercial Earth Observation (EO) data, increasing revisit frequency, improving spatial resolution, and enabling Landsat science-quality grade surface reflectance and surface temperature products. The contractor will provide commercial EO data and services, including data products, processing pipeline improvements, and new capabilities development services. The contract period of performance is one year from the date of award, and the contractor will provide data and related services to support SLI Commercialization project objectives. • The contractor will provide a combined 100,000 scenes of Multi-spectral/Short-wave Infrared (MS/SWIR) between New Acquisition and Archive, and a combined 10,000 scenes of MS between New Acquisition and Archive. • The contractor will provide processing pipeline improvements and data reprocessing based on new requirements services, and new capabilities development services. • The contractor will establish mechanisms for science-technical exchange between NASA, USGS, and the contractor. • The contractor will identify and refine potential requirements for future integration of capabilities into Landsat-like missions or mission architectures.
