Description
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Gwinnett County Detention Center Employee Parking and Security Upgrades Project. The project includes the redesign of the existing employee parking lot, resurfacing and re-striping of the lot, installation of new security fencing and gates, and implementation of upgraded security systems. The project also includes the enhancement of security at the employee building entrance through the installation of new door access systems and the redesign of the screening room.
• The project requires the bidder to complete the contract within the "allowable calendar days for completion" from the date of the "Notice to Proceed".
• A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
• Bidders must purchase plans from CROFT Architecture & Engineering for a fee of $0.00 for a digital copy.
• A five percent (5%) bid bond must be submitted with the bid.
• The successful contractor will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) payment and one hundred percent (100%) performance bond as well as an insurance certificate fulfilling requirements as stated in the bid documents.
