LANTIRN Sustaining Engineering Services

The United States Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources for sustainment engineering services for the LANTIRN Navigation Pod. The services required include evaluation and resolution of system maintenance deficiencies, resolution of parts obsolescence deficiencies, development of engineering change proposals, and technical services in support of the analysis and resolution of system supportability deficiencies. The contract is expected to be a five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. • The LANTIRN Navigation Pod provides 24-hour night and adverse weather low altitude visual navigation and automatic/manual terrain-following capabilities. • The pod is used on the Air Force's premier fighter aircraft, the F-15E Strike Eagle. • The Government is seeking companies with experience in repairing and maintaining the LANTIRN Navigation Pod. • The contract will require the contractor to provide all necessary materials, support equipment, and services. • The Government is encouraging both large and small businesses to participate in this market research.
