Description
The National Park Service (NPS) intends to award a sole-source contract for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system maintenance and support. The contract requires comprehensive maintenance and technical support for the CAD system, including 24/7/365 remote diagnostics and help desk support, SQL database maintenance, and system and interface support. The contract will be awarded to Computer Information Systems INC (CIS) due to their exclusive control and rights to the proprietary CAD system.
• The CAD system is used to process and track emergency calls, coordinate responders, and support mission-critical law enforcement and public safety operations.
• The contract requires the contractor to provide software updates, cybersecurity patches, and version releases in accordance with NPS security guidance.
• The contractor must also provide quality assurance testing prior to deployment and ensure that technicians meet NPS background check, confidentiality, and IT security training requirements.
• The contract has a base year with an option for annual renewal.
