RFP 260007204 - Competitive Charitable Grantmaking Services

The City of Richmond is seeking a contractor to provide competitive charitable grantmaking services. The contractor will serve as an expert grantmaking partner to ensure equitable, transparent, and effective distribution of public funds to nonprofit and community-based organizations across four core focus areas: Arts and Culture, Children and Families, Economic Mobility, and Health. The contractor will build on successful pilot programs, including the Health Equity Fund, Positive Youth Development Fund, and Early Childhood Care and Education Trust Fund. • The contractor will be responsible for managing the grantmaking process, including reviewing applications, making award recommendations, and monitoring grantee performance. • The contractor will work with the City to develop and implement a grantmaking strategy that aligns with the City's vision and priorities. • The contractor will provide technical assistance and support to grantee organizations to help them build capacity and achieve their goals. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that the grantmaking process is equitable, transparent, and effective.
