Sidewalk Gap Construction

The City of Wheat Ridge is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced civil contractors for the construction of the City's Sidewalk Gap Improvements Program. The program aims to complete the contractor selection process in advance of final design, allowing construction to begin as soon as the construction documents are completed. The scope of work includes demolition, construction of new concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, and pedestrian facilities, as well as asphalt pavement removal and reconstruction. The selected contractor will be expected to provide complete construction services, including utility coordination and adjustment of existing utility facilities. • The project involves multiple locations, including Harlan Street, Parfet Street, and 26th Avenue. • The contractor must demonstrate experience in municipal transportation and streetscape construction. • The contractor must also demonstrate the capability to manage multiple work areas concurrently and coordinate with the City's engineering consultant and utility providers.
