Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Tees White Gill for the procurement of grooming services for the NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker's Bow Thruster and brake rectifier. The scope of work includes troubleshooting and repairing the existing faults on the bow thruster and its brake rectifier. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis due to the requirement that the grooming service must be completed by the OEM, Tees White Gill. • The contractor will troubleshoot and repair the existing faults on the bow thruster. • The contractor will troubleshoot and repair the bow thruster's brake rectifier. • The contractor must have specific knowledge of the Bow Thruster, its components, and programming.
