The State of Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies is seeking a qualified organization to serve as the designated provider for the Physician, Physician Assistant, and Anesthesiologist Assistant Peer Health Assistance Program. The provider will deliver statewide, 24/7 peer health assistance services—including intake, comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluation, counseling, treatment referral, ongoing monitoring, and education—to licensed physicians, physician assistants, and anesthesiologist assistants who are experiencing physical, emotional, or psychological issues that could affect safe practice. Funding is derived from a mandatory $80 peer‑health fee collected on each two‑year license renewal, with projected peer‑fund revenues of roughly $2.75 M in FY 27. The contract will begin February 1 2027, run for an initial one‑year term (with up to four one‑year extensions), and requires compliance with Colorado accessibility standards, insurance requirements, and strict confidentiality protocols.
