Description
The United States Air Force (USAF) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the production and sustainment of the AN/ALR-69A Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) system. The system consists of two Line Replaceable Units (LRUs): one Countermeasure Signal Processor (CSP) and four Radar Receivers (RRs). The government is seeking information on companies' capabilities to provide production, procurement, repairs, returns, golden assets, one-time buys, spares, sustainment, and updates for the AN/ALR-69A RWR system.
• The system is a digital RWR system with specialized hardware designed to detect, identify, and report Radio Frequency (RF) threats.
• The government anticipates a five-year contract with one basic year and four option years.
• The government is seeking information on companies' experience and capabilities in managing suppliers, handling long-lead items, and resolving parts obsolescence and diminishing manufacturing sources problems.
• The government is also seeking information on companies' experience and capabilities with production, design, repair, and retrofit of ALR-69A LRUs.
• The government is interested in companies' capabilities to generate, handle, process, and store classified material and data.
