Description
The Town of Hertford is seeking sealed formal bids to rehabilitate and upgrade its Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located at 114B West Grubb Street, Hertford, NC. The scope includes replacement of grit removal equipment, influent pump and VFD, extensive concrete and mechanical work in the oxidation ditch, installation of new valves, gates, catwalks, aeration systems, SCADA upgrades, and a security system. Bidders must submit a bid bond equal to 5 % of the total bid and comply with prevailing‑wage, Buy‑America, and various federal and state regulations. The project is funded partially by $1.5 M CWSRF and $3 M CDBG‑I awards.
