The City of Somerville is seeking a qualified organization to design, launch, and facilitate a city‑wide Youth Council and a parallel Youth‑Worker Network. The vendor will develop timelines, recruit youth and service‑provider participants, administer stipends, collect and analyze youth data, produce regular updates, and ensure that all activities embed Positive Youth Development principles with a trauma‑informed, equity‑focused approach. The contract is limited to a maximum annual budget of $75,000, runs for six months (December 2026 – June 2027) with optional one‑year renewals, and requires compliance with the city’s living‑wage ordinance, insurance, and background‑check requirements.
