Potential Leasing of Land in Alaska

The Department of the Air Force is assessing industry interest in leasing land located at one or more of the following Air Force/Joint Base installations in Alaska: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Eielson Air Force Base, or Clear Space Force Station. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to collect industry feedback on the general interest in leasing land for a large-scale commercial-use data center facility with associated utility infrastructure and energy generation. The RFI responses should include information about the assembled team, business and web site addresses, points of contact, general location of interest, proposed concept and technology, relevant experience, and proposed consideration for the project. Some key aspects of the opportunity include: • Leasing land for a large-scale commercial-use data center facility • Associated utility infrastructure and energy generation • Locations: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Eielson Air Force Base, or Clear Space Force Station • Respondents should provide information about their proposed concept and technology • The Government is contemplating this transaction as an Enhanced Use Lease under the statutory authority of title 10 United States Code Section 2667
