Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide accessible automatic door openers for the Veterans' Healthcare System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The contractor will be required to install DC Controls Low Energy Automatic Door Openers or equivalent on seven existing doors at the facility. The doors must be ADA compliant, and the contractor must provide a one-year warranty for the equipment installed. The contractor must also provide all labor, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to complete the work.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Installing DC Controls Low Energy Operators or equivalent with Lock Sequencing on the specified doors
• Providing a one-year warranty for the equipment installed
• Ensuring that all equipment is maintained to operate in a correct and safe manner as intended and designed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
• Ensuring that all equipment/items are inspected to ensure safe and correct operation in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations
• Providing training documentation when requested by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
