Electrical Maintenance Contractor for Highway Interchanges

The Northampton County is seeking a qualified electrical maintenance contractor to provide maintenance and repair services for highway interchanges along PA 33 and US 22 in Northampton County. The contractor must be able to supply materials and equipment, replace and remove damaged light poles, and service electrical service boxes. The contractor must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in repairing highway lighting systems and provide proof of such experience. • The contractor must be available on a 7-day-a-week call-out for emergencies. • The contractor must be able to order and supply replacement poles that meet the current PennDOT standard or the existing county-run system. • The contractor must provide a basic work schedule for each day, including the type of repairs to be completed. • The contractor must notify the county before working on any lighting system under its ownership.
