Description
The City of Long Beach is seeking qualified contractors to provide high‑voltage electrical infrastructure for the Marine Stadium parking lot and adjacent facilities. The scope includes removal of existing transformers, installation of three new transformers and associated switchgear, construction of new low‑voltage power distribution, conduit and wire upgrades, concrete pads, trenching, demolition, and related civil work. The contractor must also perform a ground‑penetrating‑radar survey, provide all materials, permits, testing, commissioning, and close‑out documentation, and comply with extensive labor, prevailing‑wage, local‑hiring, and environmental requirements.
• Remove three existing transformers and associated equipment.
• Install three new high‑voltage transformers, switchgear, meter sections, and low‑voltage distribution throughout the parking lot and nearby buildings.
• Perform demolition, concrete work, trenching, conduit upgrades, and GPR survey; comply with PLA, EBO, prevailing‑wage, and coastal‑permit conditions.
