Landscape Trailers

The City of Pittsburgh is soliciting bids for the purchase of two landscape trailers with specific features, including a 7' x 16' tube top utility trailer with a 7K tandem axle capacity, 13" tall sides, and a powder coat finish. The trailers should have a limited three-year warranty and must be delivered within 30 days of receipt of the order. The city will not accept "lump sum" invoicing, and all invoices must contain the City of Pittsburgh Purchase Order Number and pricing breakdown. • The trailers must have a 2 5/16" A-frame coupler, set-back zinc-plated jack, and safety chains. • The electrical system must include a 7-way RV-style molded plug, breakaway switch with battery, and wiring enclosed in tubular steel. • The ramp gate must be a fold-flat heavy-duty ramp gate with handle, spring-assisted rear ramp gate, and self-retained gate pins. • The fenders and wheels must include tread plate fenders, 15" radial tires, and silver wheels. • The axles and brakes must include brakes on both axles and easy lube hubs. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to request clarification of any bid before awarding the contract.
