West 72nd Street Improvements

The City of Edina is seeking contractors to reconstruct West 72nd Street, a comprehensive streetscape overhaul that includes removal and replacement of existing pavement, sidewalks, curbs, and associated utilities. The scope covers demolition of concrete and bituminous surfaces, excavation, installation of new water‑main and sewer pipe, drainage structures, and finishing elements such as pavement markings and signage. This is a fully online‑bidding, single‑phase construction contract. • Remove existing concrete and bituminous pavement, perform common excavation, and install new bituminous and concrete pavement. • Install new 8‑inch dip water‑main, 12‑36‑inch sewer pipe, drainage structures, sump with SAFL baffle, and sanitary sewer bypass pumping. • Construct new concrete sidewalks, curb & gutter, driveway, manholes, sanitary sewer, signage, tree planting, pavement markings, and sod.
