Term agreement for purchase of Ammunition for Law Enforcement and Related Agencies

The City of Indianapolis and Marion County are issuing a one‑year term agreement to supply a broad range of law‑enforcement ammunition and related munitions to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and other city agencies. Vendors will submit unit‑price bids for a large, variable‑quantity catalog of ammunition types (handgun, rifle, shotgun, 12‑gauge, 40 mm grenades, etc.). The contract may be renewed for an additional year under the same terms, but no automatic renewal is permitted. Delivery must occur within six business days of a valid purchase order, with lift‑gate trucks required for certain locations. The City will test random samples for performance; substandard items will be returned at the vendor’s expense. No bid or performance bonds are required, but vendors must provide proof of insurance and certify U.S. manufacturing where applicable. The bid deadline is 10:00 am on October 1, 2026.
