Description
The United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is seeking a technical consultant with expertise in potash mining projects to conduct due diligence on a greenfield potash mining project in Argentina. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing the preliminary feasibility study, reviewing and validating the pilot plant design, and interpreting the results of 3D Seismic. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of consultancy experience in potash projects and the broader mining or fertilizer sectors.
• The consultant will conduct a thorough analysis of the preliminary feasibility study and identify any material weaknesses or unrealistic assumptions.
• The consultant will review and validate the pilot plant design and identify key issues, infrastructure needed, and design flaws.
• The consultant will interpret the results of 3D Seismic and provide an objective opinion on the results.
• The consultant will interact with stakeholders to ask questions necessary to complete the assessment and provide feedback to the author of the studies/documents.
