Description
The purpose of this amendment is to post answers to questions received regarding the Warehouse Exterior Improvements project. The project involves exterior improvements to a warehouse, including landscaping to redirect water flow through berms and paving walls. The contractor will be required to conduct field investigations to determine the location of the catch basin and the existing rain leaders. The contractor will also need to coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and grounds for availability of a laydown area.
• The project does not require any work inside a VAMC building.
• A stamped design is not required for the new catch basin.
• The location of the catch basin is not identified in a drawing, and field investigations will be required.
• The existing retaining wall does not need to be extended.
• Landscaping will be required to redirect water flow through berms and paving walls.
• The contractor will need to coordinate with the COR and grounds for availability of a laydown area.
