Correction: Billing and Coding Auditing Services

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a qualified vendor to provide billing and coding auditing services for inpatient, outpatient, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), home care, and skilled nursing facility accounts. The selected vendor will conduct periodic risk assessments, provide data analysis, and identify areas of risk. They will also conduct prioritized chart reviews, work with operating areas to develop and monitor corrective action plans, and prepare ongoing reporting and analysis for management review. The vendor will work with the Offices of Corporate Compliance and Revenue Cycle Services to perform the scopes of work for this project. Some key responsibilities of the vendor include: • Conducting periodic risk assessments and providing data analysis to identify areas of risk • Conducting prioritized chart reviews and working with operating areas to develop and monitor corrective action plans • Preparing ongoing reporting and analysis for management review • Providing education and training to staff on billing and coding auditing • Assisting with disclosures and refunds to third-party payers • Assisting with responses to external agency audits of billing and coding issues
