Progressive Design-Build Construction Services for Sidewalk Improvements

The City of Raleigh is seeking a design-build team to provide Progressive Design-Build services for sidewalk improvement projects. The project will consist of two primary phases: preconstruction and construction. The preconstruction phase will include design services such as roadway design, hydraulics design, environmental screening and permits, and erosion and sedimentation control design. The construction phase will include finalizing city-approved plans, permits, and supporting documents necessary to build the job. The city is looking for a team with experience in similar projects and a strong understanding of the project's requirements. • The project will include the design and construction of sidewalks in several locations throughout the city, including Fox Road, Lead Mine Road, North Hills Drive, Pecan Road, and Wade Avenue. • The city is seeking a team that can provide a comprehensive approach to the project, including project management, design, and construction services. • The project is expected to last 24 months, and the city is looking for a team that can deliver the project on time and within budget. • The city will evaluate proposals based on factors such as team background and key personnel, relevant project experience, project understanding, project approach, team qualifications and availability, and proposed schedule.
