Landfill Western Slope Closure Project

The City of Lebanon is seeking bids for the Landfill Western Slope Closure Project, which involves constructing a 6.46-acre geosynthetic and soil final cap system on the landfill and making improvements to the existing South Stormwater Basin. The project includes earthwork, installing geosynthetics and soil layers, modifying existing landfill gas collection and conveyance features, constructing drainage features, and installing construction erosion and sediment control measures. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, and to obtain various types of insurance. The project is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026. • The project consists of several components, including mobilization and demobilization, erosion and sediment control, excavation, general fill soil, low permeability soil, riprap lining, box culvert, pavement restoration, landfill gas improvements, and closure work. • The project requires the bidder to have experience in construction work similar in importance to this project. • The bidder must provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. • The bidder must agree to commence work under the contract on or before a date to be specified in the Notice to Proceed and to fully complete the work before the date specified in the document.
