Description
The Borough of Atlantic Highlands is seeking a qualified contractor to design and install a wet fire‑sprinkler system, fire‑water service piping, and a limited‑duty fire‑alarm system for the Shore Casino and Yacht Club (approximately 25,000 SF total). The scope includes site clearing, excavation, asbestos‑cement pipe removal, utility coordination, traffic and erosion control, and full restoration of any disturbed areas. The contract is a lump‑sum award with a 120‑day performance period, liquidated damages of $500 per day for delays, and bonding requirements equal to 100 % of the awarded price.
• Install a complete wet fire‑sprinkler system throughout the casino and yacht club (≈ 25 k SF).
• Provide new fire‑water service pipe from municipal water main and limited‑duty fire‑alarm system.
• Perform site preparation, excavation, asbestos‑containing pipe removal, utility relocation, traffic control, erosion control, and final site cleanup.
