MLK 42” Sewer Repair

The City of Waco is seeking bids for the MLK 42” Sewer Repair project. The project involves the removal of an existing manhole, installation of 115 LF of 42” steel pipe by other than open cut, resetting of an existing manhole, and removal and replacement of concrete riprap and channel. The project also includes other related tasks such as mobilization, trench safety plan and implementation, UPRR coordination, dewatering plan and implementation, and 24-hour pump operation and monitoring. • The project requires a pre-bid conference, which will be held on December 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST. • The bids are due on December 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST. • The project is expected to be completed within a few weeks or months, depending on the complexity of the tasks involved. • The City of Waco is seeking a contractor who can perform the work utilizing its own organization on at least 30% of the total original contract cost, excluding any specialty items.
