Description
This solicitation calls for a qualified contractor to perform extensive rehabilitation and safety upgrades to the tunnel system at Blanchard Springs Caverns, located within the Ozark‑St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas. Work includes structural stabilization, rock‑bolt and mesh installation, masonry repairs, replacement of air‑lock and security doors, removal and replacement of the suspended ceiling system and ductwork, new lighting and distribution, handrail replacement, and full upgrade of the mine phone system. The project also requires strict environmental protection measures, compliance with White‑nose Syndrome de‑contamination protocols, noise‑mitigation, and the preparation of comprehensive submittals, schedules, and warranties.
