Addendum 2 1616 West Crawford

This solicitation calls for the complete demolition of the former Ambassador Hotel at 1616 West Crawford Street, including removal of all structural components, foundations, footings, structural floors, and the on‑site swimming pool, followed by capping of the fire‑suppression line. The existing parking lot will remain in place, and rear‑property drainage grates must be replaced with industrial‑grade units. Debris must be hauled to the local landfill with a strict limit of eight loads per day, and bidders must budget full disposal fees as per the City’s comprehensive fee schedule. No fee reductions will be granted, and any regulatory questions about rubble sorting must be directed to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The contractor must complete all work within a 90‑day window from the start date.
