Description
The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking a qualified contractor to fully renovate the Bartlett public swimming pool located at 1103 Golden Bear Dr., Anchorage, AK. The work includes demolition of existing finishes, repair of pool hull cracks, application of a new epoxy coating (or optional PVC membrane system), replacement of bulkhead panels, upgrade of the filtration system, installation of new lane lines and signage, and all associated mechanical, electrical, and site‑management activities. Bids must be submitted in sealed paper envelopes by the deadline, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Scope covers pool hull surface preparation, epoxy (or PVC) coating, bulkhead replacement, filter tank refurbishment, and full pool‑system start‑up.
• Mandatory site visit on September 8 2026 (additional visit Oct 6 2026) for bidders to observe existing conditions.
• Project schedule: mobilization no earlier than Nov 9 2026, substantial completion by Apr 10 2027 (≈ 5 months).
