Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase laboratory cassette and slide label printers for several sites in VISN 23. The purpose of the project is to obtain 3 new cassette printers and accessories, as well as 8 new slide label printers. The equipment must meet specific requirements, including the use of laser printing technology, compatibility with Windows 10, and the ability to print 1D and 2D barcodes. The vendor will be responsible for providing installation, training, and maintenance services. The contract will be for a firm-fixed price, and the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of offer.
• The equipment must be delivered within 120 days of receipt of an order.
• The vendor must provide at least 3 days of onsite installation, testing, and training for unlimited staff.
• The equipment must integrate with each facility's Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Data Innovations middleware.
• The vendor must provide a copy of equipment operator documentation in paper or electronic format.
• The equipment must have a 1-year warranty and include all preventative maintenance services recommended by the original equipment manufacturer during that warranty period.
