McIntosh Gas Turbine 2 (MGT2) Spare Starting Motor

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified vendor to supply a spare starting motor for its 120MW Mcintosh Gas Turbine Unit 2 (MGT2). The motor must meet or exceed the specifications and drawings included with the solicitation. Vendors may submit proposals for either new or refurbished motors. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a motor that is dimensionally interchangeable with the existing unit and matches all mounting, shaft, and interface dimensions. The vendor must also provide complete technical documentation confirming compliance with the attached specifications. • The motor must be suitable for use as a starting motor for a large industrial gas turbine. • The motor must meet all dimensional and interface requirements shown in the attached drawings. • The vendor must provide lead time, warranty, and pricing with the proposal. • The vendor must package the motor appropriately to prevent damage during shipment.
