GENERATOR REPLACEMENT

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing 80 kW standby generator at the Burgess Junction main shop with a new 100 kW Generac SG100 industrial generator. The work includes removal and disposal of the old unit, supply and installation of the new generator, all associated electrical, propane, exhaust, grounding, and mounting work, connection to the existing automatic transfer switch (ATS), testing, commissioning, and delivery of operation & maintenance manuals and warranty documentation. The contractor must attend a mandatory pre‑bid inspection and conference on Oct 28, 2026 and submit a bid electronically by Nov 10, 2026. • Replace 80 kW generator with 100 kW Generac SG100 (no substitutes) • Provide all labor, materials, permits, testing, and coordination • Remove and dispose of the existing unit • Install electrical, LP‑gas, grounding, exhaust, and ATS connections • Perform start‑up testing, commissioning, and provide manuals/warranties • Comply with NEC, OSHA, Wyoming state codes, and utility requirements • Mandatory pre‑bid site inspection on Oct 28, 2026 at WYDOT, Burgess Junction, WY • Bid submission deadline: Nov 10, 2026 (electronic)
