Description
The City of Bainbridge is seeking a qualified contractor to supply, install, and commission emergency power generation equipment. The scope includes 40 fixed (stationary) generators, 10 hookups for portable generators, and 5 portable generators, each with concrete pads, transfer switches, conduit, wiring, and all necessary appurtenances. The work must be completed within 365 consecutive calendar days and will be awarded as a single contract under a competitive sealed‑bid process. Bidders must hold a Georgia Utility Contractor license, provide a utility manager, and submit required bid, performance, and payment bonds. All documentation and bid submission are electronic via QuestCDN.
• Install 40 stationary generators and associated electrical infrastructure
• Provide 10 portable‑generator hookups and install 5 portable generators with pads and transfer switches
• Complete all civil, electrical, and mechanical work per city plans and specifications
• Deliver within one year (365 days) from contract award
• Must be a licensed Georgia utility contractor with a certified utility manager
• Bonds required: 10% bid bond, 100% performance and payment bonds
