RFI 05042026-CAB Electronics Cabinets Racks

The Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) is seeking expressions of interest from firms regarding Electronics Cabinets and Rack mounted solutions for the Electron Ion Collider (EIC) project. The EIC is a new Nuclear Physics Facility that will use collisions between polarized ions and polarized electrons to study the inner structure of the Nucleon. The project requires companies to have capabilities and past experience in producing electronics cabinets and rack mounted solutions, as well as providing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis of BNL rack configurations. The scope of work includes designing, manufacturing, testing, and delivering electronics cabinets and rack mounted solutions. The project is expected to last for approximately 5 years, with an estimated 900 cabinets to be procured.
