ROC Generator

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide a 350KW diesel emergency standby generator system. The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, tools, paint, equipment, appliances, transportation, materials, engineering, supervision, and incidentals necessary to procure, install, test, commission, and place into service the generator system. The system must meet or exceed the technical requirements specified in the solicitation documents. The contractor shall also provide temporary portable generator service, cabling, connections, protection, and coordination as required to maintain emergency backup power during construction. Some key requirements and considerations include: • The contractor shall perform a load study and fuel runtime calculation based on the building's actual or maximum connected load. • The contractor shall utilize the coordination study findings to ensure full compatibility with the existing electrical system. • The contractor shall provide a written sequence of operations for the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). • The contractor shall test and verify proper operation with the new generator system. • The contractor shall safely transfer the existing diesel fuel from the current generator, test its condition, and reuse it if it is determined to be suitable.
