2nd Floor & Court Office Renovation

The Town of Ithaca is seeking bids for the renovation of the 2nd floor and court office at the Town Hall. The project includes the remediation of hazardous materials, providing new walls, ceilings, and floors, renovation of existing windows, and providing new windows and frames. The project also includes plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work. The contractor will be required to provide temporary wayfinding and construction caution signage, and to ensure that pedestrians and egress pathways are protected during the work. • The project requires the contractor to provide a crane pick plan and to coordinate with the owner's representative for crane staging and access. • The contractor must comply with all applicable codes and regulations, including the 2020 NYS Building Code and the 2020 NYS Existing Building Code. • The project includes the removal of asbestos-containing materials and the contractor must comply with all applicable regulations and guidelines for asbestos abatement. • The contractor must provide a certified payroll and comply with prevailing wage requirements. • The project requires the contractor to provide insurance and to comply with all applicable safety regulations.
