Radar Data Pilot Program (RDPP) Request for Information

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking capable respondents for the Radar Data Pilot Program (RDPP) to support the objectives of this Request for Information (RFI). The RDPP aims to make airspace data feeds containing Sensitive Unclassified Information (SUI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) available to qualified users. The purpose of this RFI is to survey the marketplace, assess the level of interest, and identify potential qualified entities and capabilities among applicants seeking airspace data feeds. • The RDPP will provide FAA NAS radar data feeds to qualified users for the purpose of enabling Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) services or testing technologies to enhance these services. • Eligible applicants are U.S. State, Local, Tribal, or Territorial (SLTT) government entities that meet the requirements for access to FAA NAS radar data feeds containing SUI and CUI. • Applicants must demonstrate the ability to comply with security requirements for processing, storing, and transmitting CUI, and agree to protect federal SUI and CUI data from unauthorized access and disclosure. • The FAA will review all submissions and may contact interested SLTT entity applicants about their submission and request additional information.
