Hangar Fire Suppression System Upgrade - Reno-Stead Airport

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking a qualified contractor to upgrade the fire suppression and fire alarm system in Hangars 5 and 6 at Reno-Stead Airport. The project includes tie-in of existing fire water hangar feed to new TMWA water feed on-site, provision of new fire sprinkler systems, and updated fire alarm systems to meet the requirements of 2022 NFPA 409 and the latest NFPA 13 standards. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, tools, expendable equipment, transportation services, permits, and fees, utilities required, and all incidental items necessary to complete the project. • The project is expected to be funded by the RTAA's general fund, with an estimated budget of $1,600,000.00 to $1,900,000.00. • A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on April 20, 2026, at 8:00 AM (PT) to allow for discussion and questions. • Bidders must submit one original hard copy and one electronic copy of their bid by the deadline of May 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM (PT). • The RTAA reserves the right to not award a contract for any work and to hire additional contractors or consultants as needed.
