The FY27 Natural Disaster Recovery Grant II (NDR2) provides partial, non‑competitive reimbursement to Massachusetts agricultural producers who suffered eligible losses from weather events in 2023‑2024. Applicants submit a single online application with supporting documentation of loss (crops, timber, infrastructure, animal‑feed, or land‑recovery practices). The grant does not require matching funds; payments are based on verified loss amounts and are taxable. The program is administered by the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources and funded through USDA/FSA appropriations.
• Eligible loss categories include crop loss, future economic loss, on‑farm infrastructure damage, timber loss, and animal‑feed loss.
