2026 Pavement Overlays

The City of Caldwell, Idaho is seeking bids for the 2026 Pavement Overlays project. The project includes the cold milling and asphalt pavement overlay of several areas in the downtown vicinity, including 5th Avenue, 6th Avenue, 7th Avenue, Kimball Avenue, 9th Avenue, Arthur Street, and Main Street. The project also includes associated traffic control, asphalt patching, adjustment of various utility covers to grade, and pavement markings. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a written contract with the City within ten days after Notice of Acceptance of their bid. • The project is expected to be substantially complete by May 15, 2026, and fully operational by May 22, 2026. • The contractor will be required to furnish all material, equipment, labor, taxes, permits, and all things necessary to complete the project. • The contractor will be required to have a valid Idaho Public Works License and to include the number on their submitted bid. • Payment and Performance Bonds equal to the bid amount are required upon award of the contract.
