Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide and install weapons racks, associated components, and a mobile storage bench at the Security Forces Armory, Building 527, at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment for the installation, as well as testing and inspecting the work to ensure proper rack securement and locking function. The contractor must also provide MSDS documentation for any hazardous materials used and ensure that all materials leaving the base can be tracked and accounted for.
Key requirements include:
• Providing 7 UWR4 M4 Rifle & M18 Pistol storage racks, 2 UWR1 Rifle storage components, 1 UWR2 component, 1 UWR3 component, 1 UWR5 component, 2 UWR6 components, and 1 Mobile Storage Bench w/ Cabinet
• Mounting racks, cabinets, and shelving as described in the quote and attached mechanical drawing
• Performing testing and inspection to ensure proper rack securement and locking function
• Cleaning the work area and removing all debris
• Providing submittals prior to ordering
