Lake Houston Pump Station Centerpoint Transformer Pad Mount Installation

The San Jacinto River Authority is seeking a contractor to furnish a pad for the future installation of a CenterPoint transformer to accommodate a voltage reduction of the site. The project will consist of the installation of removable protective barriers surrounding the pad, installation of conduits and duct bank, removal of an existing light pole with a portion of the existing conduits in the CenterPoint easement, and installing caps for these conduits. The removal of previously abandoned conduits may be necessary as well. The contractor will be responsible for all CenterPoint Energy coordination related to the transformer installation. Key aspects of the project include: • Installation of a 9' x 11' concrete transformer pad • Earthwork and CenterPoint coordination • Associated conduit runs from power pole and stub out for future disconnect panel • Removal of light pole and demolition of existing light pole foundation and associated conduits • Installation of bollards and site restoration/hydromulch
