Anti-Ice Units

The Missouri Department of Transportation, St. Louis District, is seeking bids from qualified companies to provide Certified Power 1750 Gallon Slip-In, Full Baffled Anti-Ice Units. The units must meet specific requirements, including being full baffled, having a 3-lane spray capability, and being compatible with Force American and Certified Power ground speed hydraulic control systems. The contract period will be 12 months from the Notice of Award. Key features of the unit include: • 1750 Gallon Full Baffled Slip-In Anti-Ice Unit • Tank is poly, unit to be installed on a skid assembly fabricated in mild steel and metal needs protective coating • Tailgate latch assembly is integral to the skid assembly • Hydraulically driven hypro liquid pump • Vertically adjustable spray bar, 1-1/2" stainless steel wet booms, center lane • (8) straight stream nozzles, 6 gpm, 40 psi nozzles, (4) side lane booms, 12 gpm nozzles each lane The unit must be shipped completely assembled to the skid assembly, ready for MODOT staff to install into their dump body.
