Ground-Based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance System (GEODSS) Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Recompete

The United States Space Force is seeking potential sources to provide operations and maintenance services for the Ground-Based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance System (GEODSS). The GEODSS system supports United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) and theater war fighter’s requirements through the detection and surveillance of man-made satellites. The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, materials, transportation, supervision, and other items necessary to perform GEODSS PWS requirements. The contract will include a projected 90-day phase-in period, a base period of performance of 9 months, 4 additional 12-months option periods, and up to a maximum 6-month extension of services option period. Some key responsibilities include: • Providing non-personal services to manage, operate, maintain, and provide logistical and general support services for the GEODSS system • Performing organizational level maintenance on system upgrades and modifications once they are accepted by the Government • Participating in exercises and inspections • Providing technical assistance and advice to other Contractors or Government agencies • Maintaining continuity and oversight of operations at the GEODSS sites • Creating, updating, and maintaining a Knowledge Management (KM) Plan and implementing it across the GEODSS sites
