West Virginia State University is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide design services and construction‑contract administration for the comprehensive renovation of Sullivan Hall, a mid‑size residence‑hall building on its Institute campus. The scope includes full roof replacement, HVAC system upgrade, elevator modernization, window replacement, and associated building‑systems engineering, along with ongoing construction oversight to ensure code compliance, budget adherence, and minimal disruption to building occupants. The university will evaluate proposals on qualifications, proposed methodology for meeting project goals, and an oral interview, with a total of 100 points possible. Successful firms must also furnish the required performance, labor/material, and maintenance bonds, and maintain specified insurance coverage.
