Design Consultant - Chambers Creek Dam Removal and Estuary Bank and Channel Protection Project

The project involves the design of the 30% to 100% design plans for the Chambers Creek Dam removal, Chambers Bay estuary bank and channel protection measures, and sediment management. The selected consultant will provide preliminary and final design engineering services, including project management, coordination with the Chambers Creek Bridge Replacement Team, civil and structural engineering design, and environmental permitting. The consultant will also engage with tribes, agencies, interested parties, and the community, and provide stakeholder agreements related to dam removal, estuary bank protection, and sediment management costs. • The project requires experience in dam removal, habitat restoration, and sediment management. • The consultant must have expertise in civil and structural engineering design, environmental permitting, and community engagement. • The project involves coordination with multiple stakeholders, including tribes, agencies, and the community. • The consultant must provide a comprehensive organizational chart, a project approach narrative, and a statement outlining any proposed exceptions to the County's requirements. • The consultant must also provide references and a statement outlining any litigation pending or judgment rendered within the past three years.
