Description
The City of Revere is seeking bids for the construction of the Inflow Removal Program, Contract 12. The project involves removing and/or redirecting illegal inflow sources, extending existing drainage with new pipes, and installing drain manholes and catch basins. The contract time for the base bid is 250 calendar days, with additional time for additive alternates. Bidders must submit their bids in accordance with the instructions to bidders and be accompanied by a bid security. The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent performance bond and a 100 percent payment bond.
• The project is funded by the City of Revere through the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust.
• The bidding and award of this contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M.
• The owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
• The project requires compliance with the Department of Environmental Protection's Diesel Retrofit Program.
