The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a 100 % Small Business‑set‑aside contractor to provide trash removal and hauling services for Federal Correctional Institution McKean, Pennsylvania, from December 1 2026 through September 30 2027. The work includes scheduled weekly and bi‑weekly pickups of government‑owned dumpsters, as‑needed haul‑outs, recycling pickups, and compliance with strict security, background‑check, and environmental requirements. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price and will be awarded to the most advantageous offer based on price and past performance.
• Weekly pickup of a self‑contained trash container (Wednesday 8:00‑11:00 am) and bi‑weekly pickup of a second container.
• Additional “as‑needed” pickups for construction debris and recyclables, with a $60 maximum compensation for denied access.
• Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, permits, and must pass NCIC background checks for drivers; all waste must be disposed at approved facilities.
