REBID MUN-270175 Hamilton Conservatory Heating System Renovation

The project involves the renovation of the heating system at the Hamilton Conservatory, located at Miami University's Hamilton Campus. The scope of work includes replacing the existing natural gas fired hot water heating system with a new hot water distribution system and a unit heater based warm air delivery system. The project also includes the partial renovation of the greenhouse misting system. The construction is expected to commence on September 8, 2026, and be completed by November 13, 2026. • The project has a total area of approximately 4460 square feet under glass, with an additional 2800 square feet of instruction, office, and service space. • The scope includes all greenhouse spaces and the classroom, but does not include the headhouse, toilets, or office. • The project includes an add alternate for a new heat pump serving the classroom. • The existing MicroGrow system, which controls most greenhouse functions, including heating zone temperature control, will be reused.
