West Lake Park Beach Road and Park Terrace Campground Improvements

The Scott County Conservation Department is seeking proposals for improvements on the Beach Road and the Park Terrace Campground at West Lake Park in Davenport, Iowa. The project includes the reconstruction of the Beach Road, restoration of the existing campground road, removal and replacement of campsite pads, and new full-depth asphalt parking areas. The project also includes erosion control measures, surface restoration, pavement striping, and construction phasing coordination. Key aspects of the project include: • Reconstruction of the 22’ wide, 4,700’ long 2-lane asphalt road • Removal and replacement of 78 existing campsite pads • Installation of new concrete campsites • Relocation of sanitary sewer risers • Installation of a new storm drain and storm sewer • Site grading and erosion control measures The project is expected to begin on September 21, 2026, with substantial completion of the Beach Road Project by December 31, 2026, and the Park Terrace Project by May 1, 2027.
