Description
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Atlantic (NAVFAC Atlantic) is seeking architect-engineer firms to provide geotechnical engineering services for various projects within its area of responsibility. The contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The total fee for the contract term shall not exceed $30,000,000. The services expected to be performed under this contract include subsurface investigations, geotechnical engineering analysis and design, construction materials inspection, and airfield pavement inspections.
• Subsurface investigations and geotechnical site characterization studies
• Geotechnical engineering analysis and design of shallow foundations, deep foundations, ground improvement, and similar geosystems
• Construction materials inspection including field/laboratory testing
• Airfield pavement inspections, evaluation, and design
• Other services such as forensic investigations, sampling, testing, and reporting of hazardous materials, and design drawings and specifications for work involving geotechnical, civil site development, storm water management, drainage systems, pavement systems, hazardous materials, and elements associated with civil, foundation, and site demolition.
